Dole Europe's Swedish division, Saba Fresh Cuts, has acquired a 25% stake in Green Vision, a producer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables in Europe. According to the agreement, Green Vision will work in collaboration with the company's Swedish division with an aim to provide a wider choice of products.

Dole Foods has reported revenues of $6.8bn for the fiscal year ended January 2, 2010, a decrease of 11% compared to $7.6bn for the previous year. The decrease was primarily due to sale JP Fresh and Dole France ripening and distribution subsidiaries during the fourth quarter of 2008.
